Yoga Fundamentals: Alignment and Philosophy of Surya Namaskar : Saturday, March 14th, 2020

The Sun Salutations are key to Asana Sequence in yoga. In this 2 hour workshop, I will break down each component of Surya Namaskar A & B sequences. We will explore each pose individually with demonstration and hands-on adjustments, then explore how they relate to one another physically and energetically. You will gain practical knowledge of the correct alignment for each individual pose in the Surya Namaskar sequences and develop a feel for how to move smoothly and continuously from one pose to the next while using the appropriate breathing technique. This workshop is valuable for both beginner and established Yogi's and Yogini's who want to become familiar with details of the frequented poses and who want to fine tune their practice..

Spring Self Care Retreat : April 20th, 2019

A one day retreat is an opportunity to be transported, awakened, and transformed. It is a precious period of time devoted to the purpose of rejuvenation and inner discovery. Come cultivate a space that will lead you toward insights, personal breakthroughs, and assimilation of all you have received. The day will be spent exploring what self care truly means by cultivating self love. Included in the experience is; Asana practice, beautiful Ayurvedic lunch by Chef Aria, a guided nature walk through the woods, opportunity for discussion and exploration, and Reiki & Soundbath by musician Joseph Sanchez w/guided meditation.

Open Hips - Open Heart : TBA

This 2 hour workshop is devoted to soften, stretch and open the hips deeply which will help you sink deeper into the earth. Focusing our movements on long holds, slow flow and gentle back bends, we will end with restorative poses and a guided meditation to calm and focus the body and mind.
